Trust your struggle

Life is hard. We’re all in the same game; just different levels. Everyone has, will, or is currently going through a major struggle in their life. This struggle could be as hard as the death of a loved one, hunger, abuse, or maybe sickness. Maybe the struggle isn’t that intense; however, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t difficult to overcome. Everyone is on a different level dealing with their struggle, so don’t be too quick to judge another person. There are so many different levels and it doesn’t matter which one you’re battling. What matters is that you understand how to deal with them even when you want to give up.

No matter how hard it is, try to stay positive and find a way to release your emotions in a non-harmful way. No matter who you are or what it may be, just have faith that someday the dots will connect. When you experience one of those difficult levels you will probably hear people give you advice all the time. They usually tell you that time will heal everything or to have faith like I said previously. It sounds like bulls**t, at the time but it’s true. They usually advice you because they remember going through a similar struggle in their life.

The hardest thing during these times is not having the answers to your questions. Why did this happen? What was going through their mind? What if I don’t get better? That’s why you must believe in a higher power, or you’ll drive yourself into a pit of negativity. It doesn’t matter what higher power you believe in. Have faith in something or you’ll continue to have that feeling of despair shadow over you every day. Having a destructive mindset is the easiest thing to turn to during these times. Challenge yourself to find a healthy habit to release the anger instead of physically or mentally hurting yourself or others. One example I picked up is writing, just letting all my emotions out on paper. So, the next time you’re going through a rough patch and want to hear for the one millionth time, to give it time or have faith. You’re always welcome to come back here to read this again.
